These seem to work as well as any other rod I have purchased. I have purchased Menards house brand rods, Lowes Lincoln Rods or electrodes, and some other off name brands, things I could acquire locally, around town…. These seem to perform as well, as any of the others, I have used. They seem to keep a consistent connection or don’t loose ark, which makes for a better weld. I have even had these melt and more or less, could weld without them arking, not quite, but almost……I used these to weld some stainless steel to some 1/4 steel, they worked well. I had attempted this before, had a difficult time, not sure which rods I was using, though these seem to work ok, once the amps are set correctly…
