I have found for best results, fill with water and a little white wine vinegar, heat for 40 seconds. Add room temperature eggs, pierce the yoke and depending the power of your microwave cook for 30-40 seconds. Its worked for me everytime.

I love this, far superior my last one.Takes a little time to know how long to get your eggs perfect but thats the same with any micro poacher, I would advise not to fill with water to the line, just a bit below and take care when taking it out as the lid dosn’t clip on and the hot water may slosh out. BPA free too and really easy to clean. 🙂

Made the best poached eggs. Just put 2inches of water. I found it easier to put the cups in first and crack the eggs into the cup. Just slid a knife around the edges when cooked and they easily slid out.
